Super Tetris is a classic HTML5 puzzle game where players arrange falling geometric shapes (tetrominoes) to clear complete lines and rack up high scores. Designed for both desktop and mobile browsers, the game provides a nostalgic arcade experience enhanced with modern gameplay features and intuitive touch controls.

Game Overview & Interface

  • Central Playfield: The main game grid where geometric shapes fall from top to bottom. Players must manipulate, rotate, and align these shapes to form solid horizontal rows without gaps.
  • Hold Feature: Located on the right side, the HOLD box allows players to store an awkward or unwanted block for strategic use later in the match (activated via the H button).
  • Next Queue: The NEXT display shows incoming blocks in advance, enabling players to plan their placements and combos ahead of time.
  • Game Stats Panel: Tracks real-time performance including your score, elapsed game time, current level, lines cleared, and the goal required to advance to the next level.
  • On-Screen Touch Controls: Features touch-friendly directional arrows, rotation controls, drop triggers, and a quick-hold button at the bottom of the screen for mobile gameplay.

How to Play

  1. Move and Rotate: Position falling blocks using the left and right controls, and rotate them to fit into empty spaces on the grid.
  2. Clear Lines: Complete a full horizontal row across the grid to clear it, gain points, and create more space for upcoming blocks.
  3. Level Up: Clear the required target number of lines (Goal) to advance to higher levels, where blocks fall faster and test your reaction speed.
  4. Game Over: The game ends when the stack of blocks reaches the very top of the playfield and no new blocks can enter.
